In 2011, French group Gefco (a subsidiary of PSA Peugeot Citroën) saw its turnover increase by 12.9% due to dynamic organic growth on existing markets and also to taking a 70% stake in Italian logistics company Mercurio. Current operating results for the group amount to 5.9% of turnover. These good results are being published at the beginning of what Gefco describes as a ‘decisive year’ following the announcement of the PSA Peugeot Citroën group to open the company’s capital.
