European market closes 2011 up 29 %

According to ACEA, the European HGV market finished 2011 29% up on 2010. This represents 315,447 vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes registered, including 236,512 vehicles of over 16 tonnes. Market trends over the last months of the year were contrasting, between the UK which is still growing at over 30% and Spain which is declining, with the stable German market in the middle.
