Geodis is bringing a new 32,000 m² depot into operation, close to Milan. It is characterised by being totally covered by mono-crystalline photovoltaic panels. Geodis now has 232,000 m² of warehousing in this area (of which 54,000 m² are equipped with photovoltaic panels) for upstream and downstream storage and logistics operations for clients in the automotive, textile and consumer goods sectors. The new depot will produce 3 MWh of electricity annually, covering the needs of almost 1,000 households.
