The German Bundestag (parliament) has voted to extend the ‘Maut’ toll to HGV’s for 4-lane national roads. This measure is expected to add an extra 100 million Euros to federal coffers, to add to the 4.5 billion Euros already collected annually. The proposal still has to be passed by the ‘Bundesrat’ council.
