GLS Germany introduces pin code for delivery

go back print this page     send page by mail     Comments Share Facebook twitter linkedin

GLS Germany, a subsidiary of General Logistics Systems BV of Amsterdam, has just launched its new IdentPin-Service. This service is designed for clients who wish to control legitimacy. Only those in possession of the code will have their parcel delivered. In practice, the shipper determines a 4-digit code which he then sends to the recipient. If the wrong code is entered three times in a row, the delivery company does not release the parcel.
