Volvo to test alternative fuels
|
|
During a symposium in Stockholm on March 16th and 17th, Volvo presented a number of alternative fuels solutions. The manufacturer is shortly to start practical tests on methane-diesel and bio-DME technologies. The latter, which emits 95% less CO2 than diesel, will be tested in the autumn by transport companies using 13 litre FH trucks. The methane-diesel association will also be tested by Swedish transport companies on FL and FE models with 7 litre engines.
