Following 5,000 km of tests, Renault Trucks has the first results for its Premium Distribution Hybrys Tech. The diesel/electric vehicle equipped with a household waste container, is being  used in Lyon by SITA (Suez Environment). These tests have enabled the Renault engineers to apply ‘significant modifications’ to the 2nd generation hybrid vehicle currently being tested in Paris and Lyon. Amongst improvements are a decrease in fuel consumption of between 20 and 25%.
