UPS has set itself the objective of improving by 20% (between 2000 and 2020) the ‘miles per gallon’ (MPG) performance of its entire parcels delivery fleet in the . This improvement is based around improvements already made between 2000 and 2009, which saw MPG increase by 10% across the 60,000 strong fleet.
