´Irish Haulier of the Year´ prize awarded by Fleet Transport Magazine in 2007

A specialist in transporting oil products (including by-products and lubricants), Reynolds Logistics is a perfect example of what a logistical service provider can offer to its customers when it practices a policy of innovation. Established in Dublin, the company of Joe Reynolds extends its sphere of action to Ireland, but also to Great Britain, and now it is determined to developing its activities on the continent.
Joe Reynolds doesn´t measure the success of his company by the number of vehicles that he puts on the road. On the contrary: he measures its effectiveness by the ratio between the number of litres delivered and the number of kilometres travelled. The high degree of technological research of Reynolds Logistics has resulted in the development of several systems which are then skilfully marketed. (With the collaboration of Jarlath Sweeney, editor-in-chief of Fleet Transport Magazine)

Best Practice

To deliver large quantities of lubricants, Reynolds has developed a concept which enables this without tanks. Even with multi-compartmentalised tanks, the filling level is never optimal. With tarpaulin-covered trucks full of 16 IBC´s of 1000 litres, it is possible to transport more flexibly and to raise the load rate from 62 to 93 %.

Location: Dublin
Shareholding: 100 % Joe Reynolds
Personnel: 250 (Ireland + UK)
Fleet: 150 vehicles
