Scania has selected Porsche Engineering Group as a partner to develop the next generation of heavy truck cabs. This is  a surprising move but facilitated by Volkswagen, the major shareholder in Scania and which also has a stake in Porsche. Porsche Engineering Group supplies up to date engineering services in domains such as analysis of materials, structural tests, equipment design and production and logistics.
