Both MAN Truck & Bus and Scania are to see new CEO’s taking up their positions on September 1st. At Scania, the current CEO Leif Östling is to pursue his career on the board of Volkswagen AG and will be replaced by Martin Lundstedt. Aged 45, Lundstedt is currently vice-president in charge of direct sales and franchises.

On the Scania board, Per Hallberg has been named as head of the Production and Logistics departments, previously under the control of Anders Nielsen. Nielsen has been named as CEO of MAN Truck & Bus in place of Georg Pachta-Reyhofen, who remains CEO of MAN SE and also takes on new responsibilities within Volkswagen AG, with a coordination function for all engine activities within the group.
