New combined Schenker road-rail service between Poland and Italy
|
DB Schenker has launched a new combined rail-route transport service between Poland and Italy, and more precisely between Verona and the Ostrava terminal located at the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. The complete trains, operated by Cemat, Bohemiakombi and Kombiverkehr, will have 28 units, of which 12 will be reserved for DB Schenker, for its own semi-trailers. The Italian and Polish subsidiaries of DB Schenker are responsible for pre- and post-shipping, with a total transit time of three days.
