The European Shippers Council (ESC) has named Paola Lancellotti to the post of Secretary General. She was previously Secretary General of the European Marine Equipment Council, and, between 2001 and 2005, director of the Short Sea Shipping Council in Italy. Her first task will be to meet the members, partners and other stakeholders involved in the supply chain and the freight industry.
