Renault Trucks has delivered a hybrid truck to Point P, the leading construction materials supplier in France. This is a Renault Premium Hybrys Tech 6x2*4 of 26 tonnes equipped with a 310 bhp DXi 7 engine and a flat-bed with a rear-mounted crane.  It will be used in the Paris region. This is the largest hybrid truck fitted with this type of body produced in Europe. A reduction in fuel consumption of 20 % is claimed thanks to the use of the electric motor in town.
