Return to profits for Vos Logistics in 2011
Dutch logistics group Vos Logistics returned to profit in 2011, following losses of 3.9 million Euros the previous year. This result is attributed to a new more flexible management strategy for transport capacities, which in particular makes more use of sub-contractors. This has not prevented Vos Logistics from continuing to invest in its fleet (270 heavy trucks to be renewed, out of a total of 600, 500 new semi-trailers), in alternative methods of propulsion (15 new LNG tractor units), and in its logistics installations.
