More than 55,000 drivers from 39 countries are getting ready to face up to each other within the context of the Scania Driver Competitions which aims to identify the best drivers in the world. First held in 2003, this competition has now become worldwide and is based on the observation that the driver the most important factor for the economy, the environment and safety. A new on-line registration procedure has been introduced for for those taking part, including in particular a first theoretical test.
